YOU CAN BE THE CHANGE

IN THE LIFE

OF A FAMILY TODAY

THE

MISSION

To provide economic empowerment for women in the tribal villages of Thailand, many of whom are susceptible to sex trafficking and who live on $2 a day. We train, equip and encourage women to use their skills in weaving and hand stitched artistry so that they can engage in social enterprises that bring hope and prosperity to their village.

GIVE NOW

THE PROBLEM

For centuries, the hill tribe population in Northern Thailand have had difficulty obtaining Thai citizenship. It is estimated that there are over 2.5 million stateless people living in Thailand today.

Without citizenship, these ethnic minority groups are denied access to medical care, education and any economic opportunity outside of their district.

They face a high risk of being trafficked and sexually exploited because they are stuck in a cycle of poverty that makes it very difficult to survive day to day. When survival is a daily struggle, there is no time to hope and dream for anything more.

THE HISTORY OF BREANNA'S HOUSE OF JOY

16 years ago, Breanna's House of Joy was started for young girls who orphans of poverty and at risk of being sexually exploited. Today, many of these girls have graduated college and are thriving in life.

Over the past 16 years, we’ve learned a lot about human trafficking and we’ve realized that these young women may never fully be protected, but their chances are so much greater when they are surrounded by a strong community and empowered to earn a living wage.

Human trafficking is a 150 billion dollar industry and recruiters are profiting on people’s hopes and dreams.

Poverty is at the root of this problem and we believe that economic empowerment is the solution.

When families are given economic opportunity, they are given the power to build a better life for themselves. These families are just as eager to be good parents and contribute to their societies, but they are lacking the resources to do so. When families can hope and dream again, they begin to see their value as a parent and a contributor to their society.

We train, equip and encourage women to use their skills in hand stitched artistry and weaving to build their own social enterprises that will bring hope and prosperity to their village.

As consumers, we have the power to empower these women with our purchase.

Every time we buy something, we are casting a vote for the world we want and a fair trade purchase is a vote for dignified work and a flourishing life. We want to see a world where poverty is no longer causing families to make these unimaginable choices.

We offer unique designs for your home and life that are inspired by Hill Tribe culture and tradition. Our hope is to expand into the US market over the next year so that we can provide more jobs to the Hill Tribe communities, offering the economic stability they need to say NO to human trafficking and YES to a life of flourishing.

WE NEED YOU!

To get this project off the ground, we need to raise $125,000. This will be used for product development, travel expenses, training, supplies, personnel, and an initial bulk purchase of inventory. We already have people on the ground that are eager to partner with us and begin their journey to economic freedom. We need your help to get it done.

Join us in restoring hopes and dreams for discriminated people groups in Northern Thailand by investing in sustainable businesses for women and families.
